A kind woman named Diane Chapman saw a dog in need. This dog was heavily emaciated and needed to be treated. Diane reached out to local rescuers to help out the canine.

Diane brought the dog to the shelter, and the rescuers welcomed the canine openly. One of the rescuers named Ermioni saw the dire condition of the dog’s skin. The canine looked almost entirely naked because it had too many bald spots.

This made the dog very sensitive to touch. To make sure that the rescuers won’t cause the dog any pain, Ermione and her team would gently bath the dog. The rescuers gave him medicated baths every day for weeks until his hair started to grow back.

As his body was healing, the rescuers knew that his heart needed to heal too. To do this, they introduced her to the other shelter dogs. The poor canine was very withdrawn in the beginning but has eventually learned to open up.

The dog has really formed a bond with the other canines and the rescuers. Unfortunately, he could not stay forever in the shelter, and he needed to move on.

This dog found his home in Canada, where he started his new life. A very nice family has adopted him. Since then, the lovely canine has been living happily with his new family.

His story is so inspiring that it made it to the cover of a Canadian magazine. His story is a story worth telling because he has overcome so much. This dog’s life is a testament to his resilience.

It is very inspiring and has touched so many lives, including Ermioni and her team’s lives. They will forever be proud of this particular rescued dog. After everything that he went through and how he survived, he is a true inspiration.

Some time ago, I had a dog. It was a beautiful Dalmatian dog called Basil. We got him as a puppy. Unfortunately, when he was less than one year old, he started having epileptic fits. We took him to a doctor, and he prescribed him some medication that had to be given to him twice a day, but still, he had the fits from time to time. He grew to be a big a strong dog, so when he had a fit, the nearby furniture was flying everywhere. It was very distressing for us. Otherwise, he was a very loving but mischievous dog. Especially when our food was served on the table, he would jump and steal the meat. Very naughty. Obviously, we didn’t teach him good manners. He loved eating raw courgettes. So life with Basil was very happy but not very easy. When he was six years old, he had a fit but couldn’t come out from it. Our vet took him to his surgery but was not successful, and after a conference with us had to put him to sleep. We were devastated, especially my children. So now we just have a lot of happy memories and our photos. To honor Basil's legacy, I continue to write articles about fun-loving dogs that remind me of him. I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I do!
