A man was going about his day when he noticed something move outside his fence. He couldn’t make out what it was, so he approached it. That’s when he saw a puppy who was only a few days old.

As much as he wanted to help out the dog, he was unable to cross the fence. He is unable to go to the other side of it. That’s when the man decided to call a local rescuer to help him out.

When the local rescuer came to the man’s home, she saw how difficult it was to get the puppy because of the barrier. They needed to find a way for her to get to the other side.

Luckily, they found an old barrel that the rescuer used to climb on. The man helped the rescue out by holding the barrel steady. When the lady rescuer was on the other side of the fence, it took a while for her to find the puppy. It was hiding in some bushes.

When she finally got the puppy, she was very thrilled to see how adorable it was. She immediately brought the canine to the vet, where it was checked and bathed.

It was given all the necessary vaccinations and treatment for the presence of fleas. The rescuer then brought the canine to the shelter where it would be temporarily staying.

Once the puppy is ready, it will be up for adoption. There is no doubt in the rescuer’s mind that it would be easy to have the puppy adopted. No one can resist its cuteness.

Thanks to the man who called the local rescuer to help out. If not for him, this adorable puppy might not have a bright future ahead of him. There is a possibility that it might have starved to death, especially since it was alone. Thankfully, that’s not ever going to happen because she is now in a safe environment.

Some time ago, I had a dog. It was a beautiful Dalmatian dog called Basil. We got him as a puppy. Unfortunately, when he was less than one year old, he started having epileptic fits. We took him to a doctor, and he prescribed him some medication that had to be given to him twice a day, but still, he had the fits from time to time. He grew to be a big a strong dog, so when he had a fit, the nearby furniture was flying everywhere. It was very distressing for us. Otherwise, he was a very loving but mischievous dog. Especially when our food was served on the table, he would jump and steal the meat. Very naughty. Obviously, we didn’t teach him good manners. He loved eating raw courgettes. So life with Basil was very happy but not very easy. When he was six years old, he had a fit but couldn’t come out from it. Our vet took him to his surgery but was not successful, and after a conference with us had to put him to sleep. We were devastated, especially my children. So now we just have a lot of happy memories and our photos. To honor Basil's legacy, I continue to write articles about fun-loving dogs that remind me of him. I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I do!
