Large and furry dogs don’t necessarily look friendly. With their size, they are most intimidating to look at. Being large and hairy might be one of the reasons why no one tried approaching Grizzly.
Grizzly is a senior dog who was abandoned in a park. A concerned citizen called a rescue organization to help the dog out. Two rescuers from the organization came out to the location to see how they could help Grizzly.
When they arrived in the area, Grizzly was calmly lying down under the shade. They slowly approached Grizzly and calmly called him. He may look intimidating, but Grizzly is one of the most friendly dogs that the rescuers have met.
Without hesitation, Grizzly approached the two rescuers. That was it. It was such an easy rescue for them, and the rescuers are very grateful for Grizzly for not giving them a hard time.
They checked Grizzly for microchips, and he had none. This poor dog is suffering from spondylosis and arthritis, which are results of bad breeding. Spondylosis is a type of arthritis in the spine. He has been suffering for what humans did, yet he never stopped loving people.
Grizzly also has a chronic ear infection, and it is being treated with multiple courses of antibiotics. This canine not only needs the medication. He needs love and care, as well.
There are a lot of dogs who become victims of bad breeding. Most of them are abandoned, and some of them even get a worse fate. Some get put down because of deformities and disabilities.
Rescue organizations help give these kinds of dogs a second chance to live. It takes good people with big hearts to spend their time, energy, and resources for those dogs who are in need.
Grizzly is under the care of a fantastic rescue organization. They are doing everything they can to help Grizzly find a good home.
